A note from our founder.

I never met my grandfather. And I would give anything to hear my brother (we lost him at nineteen) tell one more joke, in his own voice. Those moments, I can never recover. Yours, we can preserve — and now is the time.

I've spent a lifetime studying the craft of documentary storytelling. My first ever video gig was a family film, and through the decades as a producer and senior editor at ABC News Special Projects Division, Discovery, The History Channel, PBS, and more, I continued to create family documentaries, sometimes on consignment, sometimes for public consumption. I started Unforgettable Family because I've learned that, for the intended audience, a well-crafted family film is simply the most meaningful use of the medium of motion pictures.

These chronicles of the spirit, values, challenges, and triumphs that made you who you are make for an incredible gift you can give your family today. In 10 years, they become even more valuable. In 25 years, they are literally priceless.
